On cask at BTBF. Pours with a hazy brown body with a lasting tan head. Aromas are of coffee, vanilla, cola, cocoa, mild earthy, leather and of course vanilla. Flavors are of cream soda, vanilla, cocoa, leather and dried dates. Low carbonation, medium bodied, lightly dry. Better than regular Pug for the most part.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Mora2000 (4042) - McKinney, Texas, USA - APR 19, 2012
Drank from a firkin at the Big Texas Beer Fest.
The beer pours a dark brown color with an off-white head. The aroma is a nice mix of chocolate and roasted malt, with a whole lot of vanilla. The flavor is basically identical to the aroma, with the chocolate and roasted malt coming through first and then the vanilla making an appearance. Medium mouthfeel and low carbonation.

(Draught) Pours a murky dark brown body with a medium cream head. Aroma of vanilla, herbs, roasted malt, and caramel. Flavor of vanilla, roasted malt, grass, baking cocoa, and caramel.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Fratto (2328) - Arlington, Texas, USA - APR 18, 2012
Poured at the Big Texas Beer Festival. Dark pour with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted, a little coffee, and vanilla. Taste is a little sour chocolate, more roasted malt, and vanilla. Not sure the vanilla treatment was good to the Pug.
