Rahr is brewing up some pretty tasty beers over in Fort Worth these days and this might be one of their best. Beer pours almost black with a big, totally retained off white head. Aroma is very nice with pine and citrus and chocolate piled upon one another. Taste is a wonderful balance between sweet and bitter. This is a beer that should be sought out and rated by other Texas folk. Yummy!!!

Thanks to tizzlejizzle for sharing this bottle. Brownish-red pour with a tan head. Aroma is full of pine and some black, bitter malt. Flavor is bitter pine from the hops as well as some light roasted malt and a bit of earth. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Draft at Ft Worth FS. This is the Visionary #2 Black IPA. Really well made black IPA with s strong malt backbone. Good bitterness with some syrupy sweetness at times.

Shared at the local homebrew Christmas party. Dark pour with a light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, dirt, and sap. Taste is coffee, chocolate, more earth, and spice.
