COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This German-style bock has a robust malt character and a dark amber hue. Hop bitterness is assertive - just enough to balance the malt flavor. Enjoy one in celebration of Fort Worth’s true visionaries.

22oz bottle in a teku. Pours deep brown with an off-white head. Aroma of nutty and caramel and hints of chocolate malts, some light hops, and some dough. Flavor the same with a lot of malts. Average texture. A decent beer.

Ah, the ever elusive answer to What is an IIPA? This one is perhaps more closely related to what others think of as an IPA> not that it doesn’t pack a hell of a lot more in it that Stormcloud. I enjoyed it quite a bit - both a Texas Craft Brewers fest & in a bomber. Possibly best effort I have had from Rahr.

Dark imperial IPA. Light sudsy head. If you drink your coffee black then you have seen its color. The aroma is reminiscent of some freshly baked delight placed ever so lovingly beside a newly picked bouquet of flowers. The taste is lightly hoppy with wisps of malt...very balanced. A Fort Worth beer that is worth your while! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at FS FW. I had no idea what I ordered and am honestly not 100% what a good dunkerler bock is. No matter what, this was tasty: nice dark malt with a nice bitter kick.

22 oz. bottle from my buddy Bryan in Houston- thanks, Bryan! Pours a clear copper with a small eggshell colored head and some visible yeast sediment in the glass. Aroma of chocolate, brown sugar, nuts, toast, straw, and mild spice. Flavor of caramel and toasted malts, brown sugar, straw, grass, spice, and nuts. Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation and a sweet, malty mouthfeel. Not bad.

In bottle. Pours a dark amber colour with a lacy beige head. Aroma of caramel, treacle, chocolate and alcohol. Similar flavours with a long alcohol hum. Moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. OK.

Bottle. Pours with a hazed orange-brown hued body with a small, off-white head. Aromas are nutty, husky, spicy, herbal, and hoppy. Mild caramel, cereal grain and a bit astringent smelling. Flavors are nutty, biscuity and clean yeast wise. Some caramel, earthy with a hint of DMS. Medium bubbles. Not repeatable.
