COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full bodied golden Pale Ale which pours with a linen white medium density head leaving spider web lace on the glass. On the palate the flavour is sweet fruity malts up front (apricot, mango) with a bit of candy, and slight grassy notes which fall away to reveal a hint of biscuit with rather pleasant grapefruit and perfume undertones. This is a hop bomb, there is no doubt. To the nose there is a mild malt aroma which accentuates the robust floral bouquet which is derived from the hops.

Medium full bodied ale with pleasant lingering hop finish.

6.8 % alcohol by volume, IBU’s 46.6

Food Pairings: Burgers, Chilli, Chorizo, Crispy/Spicy Duck, Spicy Indian dishes

Apparently in St Thomas, this is an IPA. Someone should explain to them that doesn’t stand for Industrial Product Adjunct. Calling it dismal... but I’m sure there’s a better word. Not good

Tapped at a pub I cannot remember the name in Gananoque/Canada. Overall a very good IPA. Golden, copper clear color. White head that was gone very quickly? Aroma of floral hops, bitter fruits. Taste is a good balance of malt and floral hops with a good bitter hops finish. Medium carbonation. Refreshing. Good.

Draught @ Stout Irish Pub, Toronto. Pours clear golden with small white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops, with some malty touches. Sweetish, malty flavour with notes of yeast and bitter, hoppy touches. Rough and estery aftertaste. Okay but nothing really mind-blowing.

Pours a very large amount of foamy off-white head. Medium amber colour. Ok lacing. Aroma of various malts and hops, grainy. Pretty strong hoppy taste with the usual citrus flavours standing out. Pretty good stuff.

A nice IPA that is aromatic and hop forward. Not over the top and in your face with hop bitterness. In fact has a nice hop bite with true citrus bitterness.

Pours clear honey gold with a big fluffy white head. Citrus nose, with sweet grass and hay notes. Flavour is has some nice bitter rounded notes. Very light body. Palate is overtly simple. Mildly citric and piney hops, sitting on top of a cheerio cereal scented bulk. But the overall finish is very grainy and unclean.

Unfiltered orange in appearance with a medium white head that leaves little lacing behind. Aromas are of oranges soaked in caramel. Tastes are similar. A decent balance of caramel malts and citrus hops, but unfortunately both are lackluster, and fail to pop in the nose or on the palate. This came as part of the Railway City Holiday Gift Pack, but I’d never buy it again as an individual beer.

473 ml can from the LCBO.

Appearance: Pours a clear light copper colour with a couple fingers of dense white head with great retention. Leaves a fair bit of lacing.

Aroma: Pine, hops, straw, bit of malt.

Flavours: Grapefruit, pineapple, yeast, granny smith apples, bit of biscuit.

Mouthfeel: Smooth and thin with moderate carbonation.

Overall: A decent IPA with the typical citrus aromas and grapefruit flavour. This one is a bit bitter and thin for me to really like it but it is quite drinkable.
