750ml bottle called Honey Bee’lixer 5.0%. Poured clear red-amber with a very very big beige head. Sweet sugary aroma. Medium body with a chewy mouthfeel. Sweet malt flavour with notes of caramel, maybe honey, slightly peppery finish. Not bad but the 750ml needs to be shared.

I had this bottle from the LCBO from a couple months back. It pours a dark amber with a frothy beige cap which lasts a while. Quite sweet with marked bitterness to balance, has a burnt sugar, honeyed, and grainy and grassy nose. Creamy finish, nice texture, mild bitter finish with a slight sweetness. Good but overpriced in bottle.

Canmoore (230) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 16, 2014
Pours a dark amber, with a foamy tan head. Aroma notes include honey, caramel, and cracker malt notes. Tasting notes include honey, and toffee. Sweet, but not cloiying. The palate is a little thin, and has a smoked honey finish. Not bad, very drinkable.

sudomorph (490) - Barrie, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 8, 2014
Pours a clear dark caramel with nearly no head. Aroma has slight honey and floral. Taste is a mild sweet but balanced. Medium body and carbonation. Not cloying with enough carbonation to make it drinkable. Overall drinkable but a little weird for flavour. Worth a try though to taste the contrast.

Lubiere (9731) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 31, 2013
A clear reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, molasses, honey, nice. In mouth, a sweet nutty caramel malt with roasted notes, treacle, plums, interesting. Bottle from LCBO.

Eructoblaster (2948) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 31, 2013
Bottle - 750ml. Dark brown body with a thin beige foamy/creamy head. Malty aroma with hoppy, honeyish, and brown sugar hints. Its robust malty/hoppy taste carries oaky and honeyish notes. Ends with a decent bittersweet finish.

wilderthanyou (758) - Guelph, CANADA - DEC 22, 2013
Pours a deep red/amber with a short lived off white head. Aroma of burn sugars, honey, wet grass, roast pork and bathroom. The flavours are burnt sugars and honey, caramel, slight spicey hop note. Easy drinking, but not super entertaining.

Bee Lixir 5% 750ML hardly tuched the one side of the swing top and it opened fast and loud. Expired a month after I bought it. Bought it 1t time seeing this beer: smell is honey/malt. Dark red. 2 finger head. Leave’s laceing. Taste: Honey, a light earthiness. light brown sugar, malt, a little water.

Sampled at Forest City Beer Fest. High honey & high booze. Golden boldness.

Bottle at Ontario Brewing Awards. Deep amber pour. Off-white head. The aroma is sweet and a little bit chewy. A touch of caramel and some sweet fruity character. Lightly earthy with a touch of fruit. Lingering estery character. Pretty nice really.
