2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear orangey pour with a nice robust head. Aroma has a - and I hate to use this term - wet cardboard whiff on top of some maltiness. Not a nice scent and one that colours the initial impression. Taste is full of maltiness and a slight peach-like bite. Disconcerting at first, but not too bad. Goes down fairly smoothly considering the heavy carbonation.
Interesting, not unpleasant and certainly something a bit different.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: Slightly hazy orange with a medium snow white head. Aroma: Lots of caramel and grass, some odd plasticness to it too with a good deal of grain notes. Flavour: Caramel again with damp cardboard, lots of carbonation, a tiny amount of honey and an afterthought of hops. Not enjoyable.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma is pungent hops, grass and sweet corn and cooked vegetables. Flavor is sharp and tastes alot like stale hood and paper. The sweet corn comes back in the finish. This is not a great beer, it’s drinkable but I don’t see myself having it again.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Nice orange-yellow pour, moderate carb and white head. Odd duck aroma of fruit and lactic, some lemon tartness. Flavor replays aroma plus some simple malt sweetness. Finish rolls into some faint lemony hops. Commercial description is bullsh-t and they also spell ’palate’ wrong. Drinkable but kinda unpleasant sweetness and slight metallic-lactic note would stay me from drinking a few.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
500 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a hotel rocks glass.
App.: Clear golden with a rim of white.
Aroma: Mainly just crystal malt, some biscuit and fruitiness, a bit of old apple juice and a woody note, no hop notes to speak of, kinda bland.
Palate: Medium body, fairly sparse carbonation.
Flav.: A floral note for sure, a fair bit of non-descript malt, some light fruitiness and biscuit; dry with a wee touch of bitterness.
Not objectionable, certainly forgettable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2010 bottle & tap. Poured clear orangey-amber with a lasting thin white head. Delicious bready malt aroma with some citrus. Flavour reflects the aroma, sweet and malty. Average carbonation, medium-light smooth mouthfeel. Finishes with medium bitterness. Better on Tap.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours your typical fizzy yellow beer. The aroma is interesting, tropical fruits, peach, lemon, hay, floral, more or less the description of the beer. The flavour follows suit, with pear and peach, seriously the description is pretty accurate, all and all it’s a decent beer, with lots of flavors to be tasted, just none I particularly want to taste in a beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml Bottle: Pours light copper, extremely carbonated, thin line of white head on top. Aroma is fresh, lemon, sour orange, . Bread and peach are at the forefront of the first sip, albeit a bit watery.. think a thin peach cobbler. Additional citrus fruits, good floral bitter hops. A refreshing beer, I’d much rather have this in the summer heat than heading into winter. Could be improved with a bit more body, but nice regardless.
