| An Amber Ale brewed by Railway City Brewing Company St. Thomas, Canada
| |
MrManning (1429), London, Ontario, Canada May 14, 2008 Growler- Pours a decidedly deep copper with a short lived beige froth. In the nose, pale malts meet chestnut and dark fruit with a hint of apple and floral hops. Tastes of sweet caramel malts and fig, with a subtle rye component and vanilla. Sweet, somewhat watery finish on this one. Not bad at all, but I think I prefer the Amber and the Blonde. That said, this is another solid daily drinker that I am proud to recommend and offer to my guests when they are at my place.
