Can from Lidl as Karlens Dry Apple. Delicious dry apple on the nose. Taste is more dull than you could expect after the aroma. Could be more fizzy and refreshing but still quite OK.

Pours a clear light yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma of sweetish and dry apples. Flavour of tart, green apples with some sweet fruity notes. Light bodied, dry sweetish finish. Better than I thought.

After rating beers on a train and in the national museum, rating a cider at a party at a sauna (in Otaniemi) is probably the logical continuation. 0.5l, can. Poured a yellow body with a small head that went away fast. Dusty, sweet appley nose. Light apple taste, somehow grainy and sulphury. Not terrible really, far from it, can be drunk: Expected far worse.

[ Courtesy of Maria ]. Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is green apples, wood, rubber, very synthetic. Flavor is moderate pear apple juice sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081218]

Abyssmal pale colour. Slightly egg farty aroma before the wave of amyl acetate and sugar kicks in. Incredibly watery palate. Fizzy. Taste is thin. Kivenlahti tapwater has more taste than this. This, however, tastes better than the dilute solution of iron, calcium, and magnesium salts that comes out of my tap, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say about it. COMPLETE CRAP. At least it’s not actually nasty.

It is a light golden cider with a white head. The aroma has notes of sweet, fresh, red apples. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of apple, oven baked apple and light syrup. It is quite OK, could be less sweet and a little more crisp though...

Can (as Rainbow Apple Dry). More yellow than the other rainbows, no head. Aroma is green apples, sourness and some mild barnyardy notes. Flavour is sweet rotten apples along with some tartness and mild notes of melted rubber. Quite nice for a Finnish cider actually.

(Can 50 cl) Courtesy of oh6gdx. Pours an almost crystal clear with a vague greenish tint and a small rough off-white head. Lightly tart apple aroma. Light-bodied with a heavy carbonation and fairly authentic apple notes, tart at first but with a discreet underlying sweetness. Surprisingly decent. 180808
