(Can 47,3 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a creamy, white head. Aroma of alcohol and brewing cereal. Fairly light body completely dominated by alcohol, sulphur and brewing cereal - all good stuff... Subdued bitterness. Your typical Malt Liquour. 190307

Donnez-moi le mort vert, monsieur. Merci. Le couleur est d’or. L’arome n’existe pas. Le saveur...sacre bleu! C’est terrible.

Aroma of adjuncts. Corny. Brassy gold color with a decent white head. A bit thin in body. Sweet in a sicky sort of way. Not really near enough bitter to make this work. Query whether this is the old recipe of decades ago. Probably. Tastes change. Don’t know why I ever drank it back in the day.

Pale industrial swill, beats AB budweiser but thats not saying much. Would be a great beer for couch potatoes who watch football all day.

Swillfest ’05. 40 oz bottle. Pale golden colour, grainy aroma but there is a bit of fruitiness in here. Maybe my favourite of the night.

Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal), trace hops (herbs), with notes of apple and DMS, light note of alcohol. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation, lightly alcoholic. How sweet it is! Oops, wait...that's a positive saying.

Clear golden yellow, foamy white head. Corn-syrup and apple juice aroma, harsh and overly sweet with an ethanolic finish. Garbage.

This is a fine malt liquor. I dont care what anyone says. It is sweet and adjuncty and ridiculously carbonated but it is awesome. It gets you drunk and it is very easy to drink. If you have no money and want to drink get one of these. You will not be disappointed. I promise!

Can: If you could put a glass under the drain of the drunk tank and collect all the liquid from the passed out drunks soiling themselves after a night of drinking swill then you’d have what this looks like. Nose of sawdust, that fart in a can spray, rust, and spam and corn salad (with the spam can included). The flavor is harsh with isopropyl alcohol and unbalanced sweetness. Finishes like a shot: exhale thoroughly. This is more medicinal and would come in a spray can than in a can of beer.

Picked up at a non-descript corner Liquor store in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco - attractive, green, 16 oz can. Light golden appearance with a sticky, pillowy white, soapy head. Wet paper bag aroma with some stale fruit notes. Flavor is nothing but alcohol with some dry cheap white wine notes. Mouthfeel is thin and it burns a bit going down. Why is this called an ale again?
