COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rainier beer brings together nature’s bounty from the great Northwest. Pure spring waters combine with golden barley and verdant hops to produce a beer rich in taste and texture. Fermented slowly with a pedigree yeast culture under tightly controlled conditions, Rainier comes forth with a satisfying malty flavor over a slightly fruity background, spiced with Chinook, Mt. Hood, and Willamette hop notes.

12oz bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a clear golden with a small head. Aroma of corn, grains, and slight malt. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew fulfilled its needs in college.

From a tall boy. Clear pale gold with a fizzy white head. Tastes like very light grains, corn, a little malty. Light body and low carbonation. Light aroma of malty, musky grains.

Bottle & can. I definitively say this is beer, as I witnessed the pour. Otherwise, it looks like the urine of a dehydrated person with a head that disappears as quickly. Corn and barley on the nose, and relatively little to be excited about for the taste. Yay Northwest! Boo crappy pale lagers!

The west coast cheap beer to grab. I’m new to the west cost so I can’t really understand the culture yet. But Its BASICALLY bud/insert shifty beer. College pounding brew.

Can, 71cl. It pours a big, white head over a clear, yellow body. Lacings. The aroma is weak, with some fruityness and pale malts. Pears and yellow apples mostly. There’s a little bitterness in the flavor, else it’s the same fruits and pale malts found in the nose. Medium bodied, and a pleasant carbonation level. Some bitterness in the end. A drinkable one, but there’s nothing interesting going on here, nothing at all. 131004

Clear straw yellow, snow white head. Decent lacing Mostly grassy nose with a touch of sweet biscuit malt. Very soft and light. Taste is grassy, prickly carbonation and a good bread based malt. Light bodied, medium carbonation. Decent but would not want a lot of it.

This is a nicely balanced lager with a pleasant combo of slight sweetness mixed with grassy and faintly floral hops and a pleasantly bitter finish. Aroma is old fashioned adjunct. Appearance is pale, clear with reasonably persistent white head. Body is light--but not unduly so for the style. Carbonation is a little light for my tastes. Overall, this is a great "session" beer, refreshing and light but with more character than most of the "big guys." It’s similar to Coors original in some ways, which is not a bad thing. I could drink a LOT of these and I think I will RIGHT NOW!
