Rainier beer brings together nature’s bounty from the great Northwest. Pure spring waters combine with golden barley and verdant hops to produce a beer rich in taste and texture. Fermented slowly with a pedigree yeast culture under tightly controlled conditions, Rainier comes forth with a satisfying malty flavor over a slightly fruity background, spiced with Chinook, Mt. Hood, and Willamette hop notes.

Pale yellow in color with little to no head. Aroma is nondistinct perhaps a touch of malt. Flavor is watery, slight notes of grain. I used to drink these at a bowling alley, 16oz bottle gives you more bang for the buck when compared to 12oz Bud or Coors products. Anyways this stuff is pretty bad.

Once "the" local beer here in Wa., now regarded as second rate. I find it to be refreshing and tasty. Nothing extreme, but clean and cleansing. Kind of a bubbly taste! My personal local favorite (in the bottle). Much better than Bud!

Bad. Typical body, head, taste and finish of a crappy water-beer. Glad I only bought one can.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2003 Bland but better than Bud. Good head retention. Odor light roasted malt, slight resinous hops. Taste good. Pleasant tingle on the tongue. Good finish. Fairly similar to other Pabst beers in Northwest. Overall a pretty fine inexpensive beer for an old retired forester on pension.

If you lived here in the NW, you're most likey overfamiliar with the Rainier TV commercials from the 70's (Raiiiiiiiii...niiiiiiiieeeer....beeeeeeeeeeer This is a cheap ass beer for those who are cheap bastards themselves or unemployed. I enjoyed this beer during the latter.

Not as bad as some mass produced beer. This is what you drink at a hick bar if you don't want to get beat up.

This beer smells like a wet dog. Makes me think of the commercial with the guy driving up the mountain on the bike shifting gears....Rai Nier Beer

Typical cheep American beer except this one is even worse than normal. All the bad words apply but add the fact that this one is not at all clean flavored as this style is supposed to be. In other words by the standards of beer that is normally bad this is real bad

Aroma reminds one of burning skin or hair. A foul, unpleasant experience on many levels. The beer Satan would make you drink after banishment to the nether world.
