COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rainier beer brings together nature’s bounty from the great Northwest. Pure spring waters combine with golden barley and verdant hops to produce a beer rich in taste and texture. Fermented slowly with a pedigree yeast culture under tightly controlled conditions, Rainier comes forth with a satisfying malty flavor over a slightly fruity background, spiced with Chinook, Mt. Hood, and Willamette hop notes.

Draft @ The Market Arms, Seattle, WA. Pours a clear pale golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity grainy aroma. Sweetish malty grainy flavor with some weak hints of hops. Has a sweetish malty grainy finish.

Can, 71cl. It pours a big, white head over a clear, yellow body. Lacings. The aroma is weak, with some fruityness and pale malts. Pears and yellow apples mostly. There’s a little bitterness in the flavor, else it’s the same fruits and pale malts found in the nose. Medium bodied, and a pleasant carbonation level. Some bitterness in the end. A drinkable one, but there’s nothing interesting going on here, nothing at all. 131004

Seattle’s finest - exceedingly tasteless, with perhaps a touch of grain - and even that’s hard to find. People in Seattle used to be proud of Rainier, now they are embarrassed by it.

Can from Brewforia. Pours light gold with a slight white head. Aroma is very lightly fruity hop. Maybe a hint of pale malt. Med minus body. Flavor is very mild fruity hop with some lightly bready malt. Truly it is not so horrible as most pale lagers.

Can poured a clear yellow with a large, but quickly dissapating white head. Aromas of bread, corn and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of bread with a bit of corn and a smooth slightly dry finish.

I had this beer many years ago at one time when I was only giving ratings to the beers but was too lazy and stupid to write down my thoughts. I will update this as soon as I get my hands on this beer again.

Pale golden colour, thin white head. Typical aroma/flavour. Grassy hay-like aroma and a crisp finish.

Another crapfest brew from Miller. Maybe some people can be fooled into thinking this is good because it’s named after a mountain in the Northwest. Whatever.

Nothing beats getting shitcanned around an open fire with the sound of Canadian loons in the distance. Nature! And thanks Rainier for being a part of that. Average macro pale lager.
