2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Serving: from can--purchased at QFC.
Aroma: grassy hops.
Appearance: small, frothy, white, initial head with no lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, light-yellow body.
Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and lightly bitter finish with short duration.
Palate: light body, watery texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: a living Seattle legend (but now brewed in California). Still tastes okay on a hot day.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance Ė The beer is served a light golden color with a small fizzy white head. The head fades very fast leaving only a trace of lace on the sides of the glass
Smell Ė The aroma of the brew is light overall, but consists mainly of corn and a little bit of a caramel smell. Along with these smells comes some lighter notes of a citrus smell as well as some lighter fruity aromas.
Taste Ė The taste begins with a mix of a caramel and fruity sweetness with a hint of a corny taste. As the taste advances the corniness fades all while a little bit of grain and some hop of grassy nature come to the tongue. These flavor tastes take the flavor profile to the end, and leave a somewhat crisp and easy drinking mildly sweet taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel Ė The body of the beer on the slightly lighter and crisp side with a carbonation level that was average. For the style it was rather decent but a little higher of a carbonation may have been a bit better for the style.
Overall Ė A pretty nice American style adjunct lager with an easy drinkability and a rather nice flavor overall. Nothing fantastic, but nothing really all that bad.

These ratings areal over the board. Understand that this is not a craft beer, its a mass market lager, it is what it is. Sweet grain dominates the taste, aroma is corn, decent pour with small airy head, very pale golden body with lazy carbonation. Not much of a finish, sort of evaporates. NW cheap lager, nuff said

Yellow beer that is everything I expected. Drink it cause it doesn't fill me up after one. I drink this when I'm in it to drink a lot. Great as a beer back to my favorite whiskey.

"Made Becks Sapphire seem like a mellow well crafted lager in comparison. Hot, prickly, flavors of corn and alcohol. Really really not good...really. I feel like such a whore."

absolutely terrible. pour is a piss golden yellow with a thin head that disappears quickly. aroma is grassy and a bit skunky. first flavors is of a cheap hay and grass but then the aftertaste sets in as a bitter coating on the tongue.

Can from Brewforia. Pours light gold with a slight white head. Aroma is very lightly fruity hop. Maybe a hint of pale malt. Med minus body. Flavor is very mild fruity hop with some lightly bready malt. Truly it is not so horrible as most pale lagers.

Hmmm...Iím wondering where in Juneau, I canít find this beer. Anyways, here goes.
Iíve had this various times in pint glasses and pilseners and this is reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a decent looking yellow color with a strong transparency all about it. Carbonation was seen rising and filling less than a half fingerís worth of head that fizzled into the beer less than thirty seconds.
The smell was grainy and corny.
The taste was really only corny sweet and had a dried corn sweet aftertaste. There was a watery finish.
On the palate, it sat exceptionally light and was mostly sessionable for the most part. The carbonation is there and is decent for the style.
Overall, uh...American Adjunct Lager, did I like it, hmmm...its one of those poundable beers on a hot summerís day (which we donít get too much of those in Juneau, but anways). Uh...yeah, I donít really buy this stuff, but anyways, thatís what Iím sticking to and Iíll leave it at that.
