May 27, 2007 From the barrel at Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. This producers has a good reputation but this wasn’t particularly impressive. Perhaps there was something wrong with this barrel (if that’s possible). The problem was in the aroma, which was very acetic. Fortunately, that didn’t seem to carry through to the flavour, although there wasn’t much depth to the fruit. Soft mouthfeel. Pale straw colour with an apricot tinge.

May 8, 2006 Gravity cask @ Reading Beer Festival 2006. Juicy aromas with vinegar. Sweet with some acidity (both acetic and otherwise). Despite the vinegar this remained reasonably drinkable.

May 1, 2006 Bag in the box at Reading BF 06. Silver gold colour. Typical perry roma. Fairly bland in mouth, then sharp attack of sourness. Some pear fruit, but is certainly vinegary
