Pours deep amber with a 2 " creamy off-white head, which disappear fast.Aroma of honey, not my favourite, also a strange aroma of spilt milk.

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Quack-Duck (6811) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 3, 2009
draught at Zly Casy beer festival, May 2009. Deep amber colour, slightly hazy, large and creamy off-white head. Aroma of chestnut honey (which comes as no surprise - this is a chestnuthoney beer). I used to have lots of chestnut honey during holidays in Greece and I adore this flavour and aroma. The beer feels like digging into a honey pot although much more liquid and not sticky at all. Full-bodied, malty background with dominating chestnut and honey flavours. These flavours are not too sweet, though, everything seems to be perfectly in balance. This superb beer is rounded off with some bitter and herbal hop flavours into a lingering, never-ending finish of honey flavours. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant.
