Draft. A red-amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, honey, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, caramel, and a bit of honey.

Tap @ Zly Casy, Prague. Pours unclear dark orange with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is yeasty and has notes of wet dog and honey. Some lemon and citrussy hops in the flavor as well.Medium bodied. Hmmhh, really not like anything I ever had. Works ok

@ Zly Casy. Hazy light tan. Big perfumey earl grey aroma. The beer is made with chestnut honey but I would swear it’s more jasmine floral. Sweet, lightly nutty, jasminey. Interesting character with sweet maltiness.

Part of a sampler set at Prague Beer Museum. Hazy golden with a big and lasting white head, leaving fine lace even on the small sampler glass. Malty aroma of toffee and nuts, with perfumed honey notes. Nutty malt flavour with a hint of bees wax. Slightly sour edge towards the finish, may not have been the brewery’s fault though

Bottle (as "Sporckovo Pivo", ABV 5.5%): Deep golden, hazy, bigger off-white to yellowish head; perfumed honeyish nose with yeast and hops in the background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied for a beer of 5.5%; lingering robust hoppy and honeyish finish. Well crafted, spicy brew.......

(swing top bottle) Cloudy, bright amber colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Sweet and distinctively honey-fruity aroma with a floral blossom-like touch and notes of herbal hops in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Yeasty, pale and cara-malty taste with distinctive notes of honey and a tinge of fruitiness; medium-dry malt-accented and honey-fruity finish with a delicate but nevertheless aromatic herbal hoppy touch. Well-made brew. 21.X.09

draft at Zly Casy. orange-gold body, light haze with a fine and tall white head. acidic butter diacetyl nose, overbearing and blunt. cream and fruit rind esters are stinky, sweaty and metallic and present a case study on diacetyl blah. soft carbonation, medium body, chewy with round and smooth texture, but unpleasant to drink. honestly the herb, nuts, fruit, honey and spice character that i see other people reporting - not there for me.

On tap at Prague Beer Museum. Colour; cloudy golden yellow with foamy white head. Nose; grass, hay, lemon and honey. Taste; dominant lemon-honey taste, grass, herbal, hoppy finish, light bodied. The beer is uncomplicated, but has a good balance of sweetness and tartness, making it enjoyable to drink.

Quack-Duck (8383) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 3, 2009
draught at Zly Casy beer festival, May 2009. Deep amber colour, slightly hazy, large and creamy off-white head. Aroma of chestnut honey (which comes as no surprise - this is a chestnuthoney beer). I used to have lots of chestnut honey during holidays in Greece and I adore this flavour and aroma. The beer feels like digging into a honey pot although much more liquid and not sticky at all. Full-bodied, malty background with dominating chestnut and honey flavours. These flavours are not too sweet, though, everything seems to be perfectly in balance. This superb beer is rounded off with some bitter and herbal hop flavours into a lingering, never-ending finish of honey flavours. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant.
