Cask (Kitty’s, Helsinki) Rich red, thin head. Very malty sweet moderately hoppy aroma. Taste covers the tongue, big bold malty body with rich roasty edges join a hoppy middle taste, and the bitterness of the burntness and the hops fight it out for the finish. Aroma gains coffee-ice-cream component later.

Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Red brown with a beige head. Aromas are chocolate and coffee malts with raisins and yeast. Quite vinous. Flavours are sweet chocolate with earthy malts. Bitter dark chocolate with bitter hops. A good malty brew.
