COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
A rich golden coloured beer produced by blending optic malt, crystal wheat and a small amount of torridied wheat. Added to this are Goldings and Styrian Golding hops which give that distinctly light hoppy aroma and taste.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a hazy dark golden colour with a small creamy white. Mild and rather dull aroma of straw, metal, neutral yeast, biscuit and minerals. Medium to light-bodied with notes of biscuit, salt and cookies. Not much hop in here. Medium-bitter finish of salt, butter, rubber and biscuits. This one lacking some personalty

Cask at the CPK, Pimlico, London on 5th January 2011. Clear amber with an off white ring of foam and no lacing. Aroma is strongly of sweetcorn, main taste is a blend of maltiness, with maize and herb notes and the finish features herby back-of-mouth bitterness building as the corn taste fades. Front-of-mouth sweetness lingers, and the two combine in a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Mouthfeel light to smooth. An interesting beer. The first time I have experienced this corn taste outside the US.

Cask handpull at Ye Olde Thristy Pig, Maidstone. Hazy gold. Thin white. It’s an ok tasty golden ale. Some decent white stone fruit flavour. Some ok hop. Bit plain, but utterly fine.

Cask at Market Porter, London. Pours a pale yellow with a soft head. Modest malt aroma with some grassy hops. Lightly swwet flavor with mild bread, grass and some smoked malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. An awkward finish, with modest sweetness and salty, hammy smoked malts. Not bad, just weird.

27th April 2010. Slightly hazy gold beer. Dry palate. Tangy fruit. Orange, grapefruit and a little peach. Big surprise here though is smoky malt! Didn’t see that one coming given the beers colour! A bit of apple in the finish. Interesting!
