Pours orange and hazy with white head. Aroma is citrus and spicy. Flavour is heavy bitter, grapefruit and pines. A surprising tripel.

33cl bottle at home. Pale orange with a full white soapy head. Full body with moderate carbonation. Nice sweetness with a dry hoppy finish. Pine, citrus, spices, malts, caramel, honey and herbs. Quite a tasty brew!

Een heel bijzondere tripel. Duidelijke hopsmaak (met bloesemgeur en -palet) en daarna de afdronk met honing. Mooie schuimkop. Aanrader.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2014 Aroma of citrus fruits, yeast, some spices, hops. Flavour is fruity, a little sweetness, with a welcome bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice hoppy Tripel that transcends the usual clichés.

Golden with huge white head that disappears quite fast. Very spicy, honey, white pepper, paint thinner, flowery, light malts and sweet cookies. Medium bodied and quite dry. Overall it has a weird sharpness and it's quite dry, almost like a saison. I quite like it.

Ordinary Belgian style tripel. Grainy, malty and a bit yeasty. Got nothing more to say about it actually.

330 ml bottle at home, from a trade with Countbeer, thanks. Into a tulip glass, ABV 8.6% Deep orange colour on a crystal clear body, two fingers of barely off-white head, with good retention, leaving medium thick lacing around the glass. Hoppy aroma with the columbus hops pretty obvious, some cookie dough, light citrus, mandarines, light manure. Taste also hoppy, orange peel, mandarines, cookie dough, light caramel malts. Bitter and fruity aftertaste. Very good, although I don’t get any of the honey mentioned on the label. Medium body, good carbonation going towards the high side. Nice beer, definitely different of what one expects from a tripel.

Poured a very lively light amber with a huge, frothy off white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, slightly musty. Medium body, flavour is slightly phenolic, pretty bitter hops, honey sweetness in the background. Bit of a burn in the finish.

BOTTLE 33CL from dEnk (thanks, Colin!) Look: golden-amber and hazy with a huge off-white creamy head with good retention. Aroma: a nice balance of malt and hops, „Belgian” yeast, quite hoppy with notes of notes of fruit (grapes, berries?) as well as woody notes. Some honey as it warms up. Taste: some fruit/sweetenss, moderate hop bitterness, some Belgian spice. The only let down is that the body is bit light in the middle. Nice hoppy tripel otherwise.
