3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a very lively light amber with a huge, frothy off white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, slightly musty. Medium body, flavour is slightly phenolic, pretty bitter hops, honey sweetness in the background. Bit of a burn in the finish.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is a bit stale and cheesy. Luckily it does not spoil the flavour too much. Flavour has some bitter citrus peel and is fresher and less sweet than a typical Tripel.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 6, 2013 Bottle @ brewday. Aroma is big fruity hops, amarillo? some caramel in the back. Flavour is a rather full and fruity hop goodness with some caramela nd bread in the back. Very nice beer but not really and tripel imho. Which is good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
BOTTLE 33CL from dEnk (thanks, Colin!)
Look: golden-amber and hazy with a huge off-white creamy head with good retention.
Aroma: a nice balance of malt and hops, „Belgian” yeast, quite hoppy with notes of notes of fruit (grapes, berries?) as well as woody notes. Some honey as it warms up.
Taste: some fruit/sweetenss, moderate hop bitterness, some Belgian spice.
The only let down is that the body is bit light in the middle. Nice hoppy tripel otherwise.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
My first trappist on tap and my first (craft) beer on a Benelux "beer tour". It’s drinkability compared to it’s ABV content was new to me. The alcohol was very mellow and warming. Aroma was slightly fruity but pleasent, taste was even fruitier. Fresh and creamy on the palate.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is all dry yeast. The flavour is strong bitter with a big yeast alcohol liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Rather nice but not really enough flavours and too tradiotional.

330 ml bottle at home, from a trade with Countbeer, thanks. Into a tulip glass, ABV 8.6%
Deep orange colour on a crystal clear body, two fingers of barely off-white head, with good retention, leaving medium thick lacing around the glass.
Hoppy aroma with the columbus hops pretty obvious, some cookie dough, light citrus, mandarines, light manure.
Taste also hoppy, orange peel, mandarines, cookie dough, light caramel malts. Bitter and fruity aftertaste. Very good, although I don’t get any of the honey mentioned on the label.
Medium body, good carbonation going towards the high side.
Nice beer, definitely different of what one expects from a tripel.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Een heel bijzonder biertje uit Wagenberg. Begin een sterke bittere smaak en daarna door de honing een zachte afdronk.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden colour, white head. Aroma of nail polish, hops, malts and light honey. Hop bitter flavour, citrus, American hops, light honey and apricot. Finish hops, citrus and malts.
Lovely beer, the nose initially leads you a bit in the wrong direction, but the beer corrects itself wonderfully.
