330ml Bottle (Thanks Benzai) - Dark brown with a pinkish white head. Mince pies, cherries and almonds in the aroma. Fruity, tangy and moderately sweet taste with cherries, strawberry jam and fruitcake. The sweetness is ’lagom’ and it’s a very enjoyable beer.

Pours dark brown with a bit of red. Quickly receding head. Aroma is cherries, toast, and a bit of caramel. Taste is sweet, but not as heavy on the cherries as I was expecting. Very good considering it is a style I am not very partial to.

Bottle from Burg Bieren Bierwinkel, Ermelo, Netherlands consumed at home Friday 19th October 2012 Very dark brown with a reddy tinge. Slightly aged wet woody nose, soft in mouth but with a twang. Really love this beer, fruity with sour cherry but edge is blunted so not too sour. Really interesting niced aged quality. Great beer. A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 4.0
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 erickok (2282) - Tours, FRANCE - SEP 2, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2012 Dark brown body with very creamy, very big and pink brown head head. Wow. Very plesant arom that mixes sweet fruits, dades, strawberry, cake and fermented fruit, together with rich malts, nutty and dough. Taste is quite sweet but will loads of hops to balance and even a sour note. Loads of flavour for such a moderate abv. Yet another brilliant Ramses beer. (75cl bottle)
