COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2013 A porter with easy flavors. Coffee, chocolate, nuts with a roasted medium bitter dry finish. Good mellow balance of sweet, sour and bitter, making it quite easy going. Has a nice creaminess to it. But there is something going on I don’t really like. Some sort of acidity that annoys me and ruins the beer.

sample, poured a light brown colour with a tanned head. nos eof mocha, cacao, caramel, hop bitterness, milk chocolate, coffee, citurs notes, leading to a bitter finish. almmost like a black ipa, this is not your classic porter

Pours clearish, red-brown with a big, beige head. Dark malt nose, cocoa, hints of earthy and citrusy hops. Light sweet flavor, dark malts, a little dusty, bits of roasted cocoa and coffee beans, dry earthy bitterness. Medium in body with lively carbonation. More medium roast malts in the finish, some moss and leaves. Could be sweeter. Nice beer overall.

Porter meet aanwezige smaak van koffie en chocola. Hij heeft echter een super sterk aanwezig bittertje dat me onwijs tegenstaat. Verpest voor mij het hele bier.

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2016 Dark Potter with beautiful light brown head. Not very thick, too thin for me.Not a great clear smell. Taste of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt. Sufficient, but not very special.

Bottle 33cl. Ink black with a huge creme coloured top. Little aroma, some malts and coffee. The taste is plain bitter and develops into a sharp, intense bitterness. Not like the typical IPA, but it reminds you of it. Quite lively for a porter.

Thuis. Erg heftig gebrand, droog, stoffig. Vreemd plasticachtig smaakje, verbrande vuilniszak. Rauwe sperziebonen. Erg bitter. Vaag. Maar ook knap! Backlog from 2015/08/07.

Draft @ Hop Festival Rotterdam. A: funky, nettle, choco, dark fruit. T: medium body, oily, fruity bitter, choco aftertaste. Some IPA notes that I don't care for. Too much is going on in this beer.

Keg unusual at gbbf 2015 day 4. Aroma is weird salty blue cheese, Roquefort, musty, black malts. Mahogany brown colours pour with a steadfast light tan head. Flavour is composed of milky roast, oat, dried fruit, dried fruit. Light musty finish. Palate is medium full and velvety. Moderate carbonation. Unusual but I like it.

Bottle at home. Pours deep brown, nose is sugary toffee, floral, taste is sweet, dry, thin.
