mile (2734) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 3, 2014
Bottle (8,8%). Dark brown, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing light brown head. Moderate to full, malty and sweetish aroma, some roasted malt and coffee, licorice and some herbal hoppyness. Body is medium to full, malty and sweetish flavor, light roasted malt and some coffee, licorice. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, some roasted malt and some coffee, licorice and some medicinal notes, light herbal hoppyness, light alcohol. I do not get any whiskey barrel here. Way too much licorice. Not so enjoyable IS.

Sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, holzig, schokoladig, dunkle Früchte. Geschmack intensiv röstmalzig, schokoladig, Kaffee, dunkle überreife Früchte, alkoholisch, Whiskey.

Maakun (321) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JAN 30, 2014
Very dark brown with off-white head that leaves a thin film and medium lacing. Stone fruits, berries, coffee, roasted malts, lots of spices and big citrusy hops, light vanilla too. Taste is slightly sweet at first, then goes into roasted bitter and finishes with a big hop bitterness. Medium bodied, slightly thin feeling and average carbonation. Complex stuff, it’s a lot of different things, but works quite nicely together.

CraftBeerNick (749) - London Town, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 8, 2013
Bottle at home, 8th November 13. Pours a thin, watery off black. Iodine on the nose some liquorice. Taste is not complex, too thin mouth feel, no sign of the whiskey. Not a very good imperial stout

Bottle at Brauhaus, Edinburgh. Dark with off white head. Dark and a little sweet, with a kind of vibrant cola palate. Nice.

ShivanDragon (1253) - Leeuwarden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 5, 2013

Poured a dark reddish brown with a huge off white head (bit of a gusher to put it mildly). Aroma of the smokey malt with dark chocolate and a hint of coffee. Full body, flavour as the aroma with a lingering dry aftertaste.

Martinus (2630) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - MAR 19, 2013
Brown body, beige head. Aroma of red fruit, juniper berry, roasted malts, chocolate, fruit and wood. Bitter flavour, roasted malts and wood. Quite dry. Finish wood and berries.
Nice, though for me personally not the best one by Ramses. And where did the whisky go?
(From 33cL bottle generously shared by Ronald. Thanks!)
