Black colored brew. Vanilla, roasted malts, dark fruits and caramel in the aroma. Flavor also has coffee and licorice. Creamy. Some sweetness, good bitterness. Nice.

On tap at Arendsnest. Very dark brown beer with a small pale tan head. Smooth semi dry palate. Sweet dark malt, no roastiness. Sweet fruit and coca cola make a subtle appearance. Whisper of spice. Really nicely joined up and a bit different.

On tap at ’t Arendsnest. Very dark brown with a great, creamy head. Chocolate aroma. In the mouth complex roasted flavours with hints of chocolate. Quite full-bodied. Well-made and enjoyable.

After the beer was served in the glass there was found a lasting little white foam collar which was rough and even of structure. The beer also contained no carbonic acid in the glass. The beer has a clear dark brown color and a sweet taste. The after tast of the beer is hoppy bitter with a coffee touch . This beer smells to vanilla.

Bottle at home. Dark brown pour, thick dense creamy tan head that leaves lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, bready yeast, some dark fruits and caramel. Flavor is quite bitter and roasted, caramel, coffee, sweet chocolate and bread. Very full bodied and intense flavor. Very nice balance. Great brew.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramal and a hint of chichory in the aroma. Full bodied. caramelly sweet flavor with toffee, butter, vanilla and a hint of licorice. Dried plums. Roastbitter finish. Decent.

Flavour is mild bitterness of hops, liquorice and faint coffee, light sweetness,

Bottle@BlindTasting. Brown colour, cloudy, beige head, good lace. Very sweet, light sourness, pretty bitter, milk chocolate, fruity, some laurel.
