Mooie donkere kleur. Leuk flesje. Het aroma is heerlijk. Dit vind ik meestal minder bij een stout maar bij deze is het super. Romig mondgevoel. Smaak is iets bitter, geroosterde mout maar erg subtiel. Nasmaak is heel zacht. Fijne nasmaak.

Bottle at home. Dark brown pour, thick dense creamy tan head that leaves lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, bready yeast, some dark fruits and caramel. Flavor is quite bitter and roasted, caramel, coffee, sweet chocolate and bread. Very full bodied and intense flavor. Very nice balance. Great brew.

Potente olor a chocolate, vainilla y café. En boca un toque más amargo, que recuerda al café. Agradable al paladar, suave y cremosa

On cask in the Wildeman. Poured dark brown, no head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate and sweet malt. Medium body, doesn’t really taste the strength. Flavour of roast malt, vanilla coffee, dark chocolate. Nice lingering dry aftertaste.

Bottle from European Secret Santa, many thanks, MrHangover. Very dark brown colored beer with thick stable beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, cocoa beans, licorice, some fruitiness. Taste, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, juniper, vanilla, citrus hops. Long light hoppy bitter finish. Alcohol is dangerously hidden. Tasty, unusual stout.
