The aroma has notes of smoke, infections, wood, and whiskey- hmm - what’s going on here??? The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, tar, wood, roasted malt, alcohol, and whiskey - quite astringent, leading to a dry, alcoholic, smokey, and woody finish. A bit of my scale. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. KimJohansen (7006), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 5, 2009 A Mes rate. Bottle at home. Mid brown colour with a short lived white head. Slightly sweaty aroma. Reasonable peaty whisky notes are decent but not integrated. Slightly acidic and astringent. Had much better from Gadds. Magicdave6 (5491), London, Greater London, England
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 26, 2009 Bottle at mes’s gaff with harry. Alround rating: Big alocol hit, lightly smokey grainy whiskey, its got quite a thin body, which doesnt stand up to a very grainy whisky, the peat is muted somewhat. Too boozy, but not my style anyway.
