Thanks to Phil_L! Black of color with a beige head. An aroma of coffee, chocolate, dark fruits, apples and liqurice. A flavor of liqurice, chocolate and nice bitter finish.

Bottle. Now, this was an unfortunate experience. I was quite looking forward to trying this. Black, with ever so slightly brown edges. Quite dry, yet felt quite sugary and also metallic. Something about it reminded me of lead pencils and asphalt. Some slight old socks and light soggy woody flavours. Probably the most dissapointed i have been with a beer in a long time.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle at Chris O’s extravaganza. This followed the Dark Lord so it had to be really impressive to not seem dull and lifeless. Thankfully this did the job very well. Black with a cream head. Malty stouty nose with an edge of alcohol. Lovely liquorice flavour with perhaps just a little too much alcohol. Wonderfully thick and creamy soft palate. Very enjoyable stuff.

ChrisFestSoft and dreamy, then seems to fold in on itself and go on for ever. Awesome beer. Very yummy mummy indeed.

Bottled at Chris_O Fest March 2007. A black coloured beer with a decent whitish head. The aroma is slightly fruity with some oily notes. The taste is stouty and oily. Some fishy notes. Highly carbonated. Ok but misses a few tricks.
