UPDATED: SEP 20, 2006 Ok this one is a re-rate. Just sampled at the brewery this evening and it was excellent. Hazy golden with a big off white head and very lively carbonation. Aroma is estery bananas, phenolic clove, slightly spicy. Taste is about the same with lively carbonation throughout the palate, very refreshing and of course since I had it at the brewery, probably the freshest weissbier I’ve had. I’ll be back for a growler of this no doubt.
previous rating took points off because of very light carbonation in the six pack I bought bottled.

Bottle courtesy of thaichile. Golden with absolutely no head, struggled to get film on top with a vigourous pour. Aroma has faint banana and clove with a strange sweetness to it, corn? Flavor much the same, faint banana up front with a decent clove kick and some residuel sweetness. Tad thin on the palate.

On tap, has a nice two finger head and is a cloudy straw color. The taste is of wheat, slight banana flavor, a large orange flavor, cloves, and a faint taste of vanilla. This is a very good hefe.

Clear pale golden with a thin ring of white head. Nice bready yeasty aroma has a mild touch of sweetness and banana. Body starts with nice banana and sweet malty balance with a touch of bready yeast and clove. A nice, very drinkable hefeweizen.
