Unfiltered traditional German weiss beer. Malty wheat bouquet brimming with clove and apple aromas. Wheat and barley balanced by imported German Tettnanger hops. The finish is smooth and refreshing.

Best before January 2013.
Appearance: The body is typical of a hefeweizen, very cloudy, actually opaque, though a bit darker than most I’ve had with this one being an amber hue. There’s a thin white head but it has poor retention.
Aroma: The aroma is very good here a bit on the sweet side, only hints of tart, a nice balance between banana and cloves with hints of bubblegum and very light tart apple.
Taste: Wow what a great hefeweizen that’s very refreshing. The intro and mid-taste are citrus with light yeast notes with light banana and bubblegum with a mild tart and light cloves on the finish.
Palate: Light to medium body with crisp carbonation.
Overall: This is a great hefeweizen, very crisp and very well balanced, I just wish there was a little more yeast in the flavor. I would love to drink this again.

12 oz bottle. Bright golden, minimal head (esp. for a wheat). Nose light banana-milk. Simple, smooth on the tongue, banana sweet, light yeast, no bitterness. Good body overall, light but not too thin

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Just a ring resides. Aromas of lemon, fresh apple, grass, and light bread. The flavor is spritzy and refreshing as all hell. Tons of citrus rind, think lemon. A nice wheat twang, bananna on the finish, and light grassy hops are all here. Really nice brew and really refreshing

UPDATED: DEC 28, 2013 Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow pour with a very small white head. Nose is banana, clove, and apple. Thinner palate. Taste is very muted - watery hefe elements, but they are pretty well stuck in the background.

UPDATED: MAR 2, 2013 A: Typical hazy straw color with a thin white head... fades and leaves some lacing... S: Wheat, yeast and spice... in roughly equally non-describable amounts... T: The wheat base is prominent... clove, banana and lemon-citrus lends some accent... M: Crisp. Dry. With a moderate to light body... O: Much better on a summer day... this wasn’t all that bad, other choices in the category just out class it...

12 oz bottle. No carbonation at all, flat. Wondering if I got a bad six pack. Drank two of them, both had no carbonation or head at all. Spicy wheat aroma, light fruity esters. Apple and clove are in the taste but with out any carbonation at all, it really degraded the brew. Could be much improved with Co2. I gave the other four bottles to my friend. The Ramstein Classic is WAY better then this brew. I wouldn’t buy again.
