Bottle from Half Time. Pours hazy gold with a large foamy off-white head. Aroma is clove. Med body; foamy carb. Flavor is primarily clove. Itís certainly not a dull beer. Seems to have grassish hop bitter. Finishes dryish.

Draft at Gaslight brewpub. Poured cloudy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate banana clove sour citrus aroma. Medium body with lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a solid sour citrus sweet finish of moderate duration. Good refreshing brew.

Draft...GBOA í06... Cloudy, straw-colored ale with a large, frothy, white head. Great retention. Tons of clove phenols in the aroma; nothing else, in fact. Clove-laden flavor as well with some subtle citrus fruit. Way too sweet and spicy; no semblance of balance. Between light and medium-bodied. Creamy with lively carbonation. Crisp, spicy finish. Everything I donít like about hefes is in this one.

UPDATED: MAY 28, 2010 Very cloudy orange yellowish pour in the glass. Full of distinct nose of nuts, flowers, resins, herbs and toast. Taste is a banana wheat. Body is a little on the light side. Rated 12/30/99 I should point out that this is one of the most inconsistent beers Iíve ever had. Iíve had batches of it that Iíd rate as low as 2.0. My rating above is the beer in itís heyday many years ago.
