COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rich creamy head with bouquet of wheat malt, black current, clove, and apple. Deep full flavors of caramel and chocolate malt balance with hops for a smooth warming character. The finish is smooth and malty leading to a subtle alcohol and dark caramel finish.

deep brown/black pour with a beige head that quickly disappears. Aroma of... surprise... wheat. There is a funky undertone of vinegar or something acidic. Flavor of wheaties with lots of sugar. Not too bad for a wheat beer but I don’t expect to be trying it again soon.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks DSG. Hazy dark brown and headless. Picklish aroma, a little nasty with hints of wheat beer characters underneath. Very sour, olive water taste. No carbonation, full-bodied, picklish finish. Nasty.

Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma is sourish, fruity, with olives and some roast. Sourish flavor, somewhat roasty, with fruits and light spiciness. Medium-bodied. Seems unintentionally infected, but quite pleasant this way.

Bottle (huge thanks to jtclockwork). Banana, orange, clove, caramel malt and astringent alcohol aroma. Dark brown with small tan but long lasting head. Sweet banana, chocolate-caramel malt, clove and mildly bitter astringent alcohol flavor. Absolutely delicious.

Draft at craft ale house. Pours dark brown or nearly black. The aroma has a very fruity smell with a bit of roast. The taste is medium roasty, sweet, more sweet, almost caramel and cherry.

Tap at gingerman as I try to get drunk quick, what is this 2002? Any ways pour deep brown with nose of odd fruit and cola. Tastes of cola, banana, blackberry, white wine, light chocolate. Drying finish. Thanks NJ

Draft. Cola cited with medium tan head. No lacing. Aroma of apple and roasted wheat. Taste mostly follows suit with some dark fruit notes on the finish. Medium mouthfeel with sufficient carb. Slight boozy finish. Good.

Pours a lovely black with tan head. Has a very chocolate malt smell. Goes down very smooth with a clean after taste.

Bouteille achetée au Half Time (Poughkeepsie). Robe couleur jus de raisin, surmontée d’un épais collet beige. Arôme de blé et de pomme. Acidité vineuse, manque d’équilibre. Assèche complètement le palais. Pas vraiment mon style.
