COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

500. Pours a murky dark brown with a bright tan head. Pleasant dark caramel malts and soft fleshy tree fruit on the nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, toast, and soft fruit flesh notes on the mid palate. Solid, easy-drinking, and refreshing bock with a very cool local history to go with it.

500 ml bottle, sampled both with and without bottom sediments. Aromas of bread, plums and prunes. Taste: sprawling taste, a bit sharp. Lots of alcohol, burnt and bitter. Nice balance between the freshness of alcohol and the almost cloying sweetness of fruit flavors. Nice powerful aftertaste.

Hazy dark amber beer, small cream coloured head. Light palate, semi dry and crispy. Creamy malt, bitter nuts! Lots of! Whisper of orange hops. Finishes with more creamy nutty malt and a whisper of spice. All about the malt this one!

(Bottle, 0.5 l - bryg no 078a, at Viking Line Gabriella, 20120625) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was quite large, long lasting and almost white. Aroma had malts, caramell and metallicness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramell, sweetness, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, sweet and better. Aroma was a bit displeasing but the taste was ok.

Bottle@pamir. Amber orange, hazy. Yeasty tones on the nose. Phenols. Soft, sweet malts. Full bodied, well carbonated. Ok bock. At least it has some taste, even though the yeasty flavors arent that nice.
