COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle from Vinoble-favrskov, brewn 17-10-2009. clear dark amber with a coppery, red and brown hue, depending on light. very large very smooth very good looking beige head. nice complex hoppy and bitter hoppy aroma. i get faint floral hops, bitter hops. Seems to have been hopped so much the aroma goes bitter, aroma reminds me of extremely hopped beers.nice sweet malty base to the hops. aroma is somewhere between a barley wine and a double IPA. flavor is sweet malty, faint caramelly, loads of bitter hops to balance, the hop flavor is intense enough that it just turns bitter and dry, but it works well, with a good balance to the quite malty and caramelly sweet base. As the beer is bone dry and very bitter hopped, it comes off as quite refreshing even though it also is quite sweet malty. Not many Danish brweries have dared release such an extreme beer.

Amber colour beer with a small beige head. The nose is fruits and hop. Taste is sweet fruits, some hops and mild notes of wood. Hoppy finish.

12-NOV-2010, bottle @home, from "Vinens Verden". Lovely amber with giant lasting beige head. The glass is really coated on the inside. The day after the glass still looks like a mess. Fanstasic piney citric nose. Lots of malts and lots of bitterness. This is really my type of brew. Taste goes on and on...

It’s hazy, red-brown with a creamy head and the aroma is fruity and hoppy and also has notes of caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, caramel, fruity hops, citrus and the finish is dry and suitable bitter – a nice one!

Brown, copper-coloured and hazy. Has a lasting head, white. Heavy hoppy aroma, citrus notes. Some crisp sweetness too. Flavor is more sweet than expected, nice sweetness, but the main impression is still the heavy hoppiness. Texture is dry, creamy, syrupy.

50 cl bottle, pours dark amber with a decent head, aroma of pine and malt caramel, starts out very bitter then the malt sweetness set in, flavors are caramel and pine, fairly long bitter finish, bit sticky mouthfeel, interesting brew but not as smooth nor balanced as I had hoped.
