COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Aroma hard to describe. Flavor is more apparent - it is sweet and malty and slightly roasty. I’ve had some better beers tonight, but this isn’t bad.

Bottle @ Rene’s house, courtesy of camons. Thanks for your generosity, Rene! Deep brown/black appearance with a brown head. Very roasty, a touch smoky, chocolate malty, anise, somewhat piney, a little vanilla aroma. Deep chocolate, anise, slightly charred, very lightly boozy, a touch chewy, herbal, mild piney hoppy flavor. Very nice brew. Thanks for sharing, Rene!
