COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lucky Ol’ Sun is a refreshing spring beer great for the patio. The pale golden Belgian-style ale is brewed with Pilsner malt, Belgian candi sugar, Kent Goldings hops, and local Texas honey. Light bodied and dry, this delicious golden brew delivers flavors and aromas of apple, pear, and honey with hints of banana and peach and a soft cereal graininess. At 5.5% ABV it is very drinkable.

(draft @ The Esquire - San Antonio, TX) Hazy gold pour with a puffy white head. Mild yeasty and Belgian spice aroma. Flavor is kind of mild. Was expecting a standard Blonde Ale. Not bad but kind of middle of the road. Very light on the spice and hops with a mild bitterness at the end.

Very pedestrian. Not sure what they were going for but I get slight malt and a very small hop presence.

Tastes of bread, yeast and lemon. The pear and banana flavors come through. This is very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This ale has a bright, shining yellow color, very clear,m with a bright white head that’s dense and leaves great lacing. It has a frsh, hoppy aroma and an almost bready malt sweetness, The flavor is more of the same, with a Pilsner malt finish and an earthy, green, leafy hop bitterness. It’s cool and light-palated, but has a nice heft to it. This is a great summer beer, but still refreshing in the middle of the winter.

On tap at the Whip In. The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a good bit of Belgian yeast, as well as some sweet biscuit malt. The flavor is very similar. The yeast notes come through strongly, as does a hint of citrus and some biscuit and pale malts. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Tap at Flying Saucer Sugar Land.
Pours an average yellow with a nose of honey, flowers, and light, sugary hops. Flavor is honey, sweet hops, and sugary cereal. Oily mouthfeel. Refreshing and tasty.
