Black color, dark brown head. Sweet, rather smokey scent. acidic, fizzy taste. Metallic aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Dark opaque brown with a medium light tan head. Aroma of chocolate and a hint of berry. Overall sweet flavor, slight bitter chocolate in the finish. Creamy, pretty good.

Originally rated on 12/1/14. Aromas and flavors of dark roasted malts, bitter chocolate but the strawberries were a bit on the faint side and didnt really come through that well. Good mouthfeel rich and creamy with a decent amount of carbonation. Overall its a pretty nice milk stout, would have rated it a bit higher if the strawberries came out a bit more.

I guess this needed to be made? Brownish translucent color with insane carbonation. Take a sip and strawberry fizz wants to shoot out your nose. Strawberries are there and light cocoa but a bit off and not real drinkable.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours near black with a beige head. Aroma of light strawberries, some light roasted malts, light chocolate and lactose, and dough. Flavor the same. Way too carbonated. Not great.

Very interesting very nice aroma of a classic stout. Smooth taste then subtle taste and smell if strawberries. I like it very decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Scardello bottle. Dark brown pour with a brown head and lacing. The aroma is chocolatey stout with some fruitiness. Flavor is espresso bitterness but a hint of berries too. Nice and different.

Poors black out the bottle with lacing of head. Very light hints of strawberry. Pretty bland stout, not a whole lot of strawberry. More coffee and chocolate flavor. You taste the strawberry at the end. Kind of a blah beer.

12 ounce single from d&q .. . pours a deep brown black .. medium cocoa foam, very light lacing .. . quite a dose of tar, medium roast and a slight hint of strawberry .. . a nice stout but there really wasn’t any strawberry .. . . the lifespan of the average butterfly is 12 days..

Bottle - Malty, minimal lactose and minor strawberry in the up front but shows up at the end. Tan head dissipates quickly. Had this on draught ~1 year ago and the flavor was better. Still one I’d buy again.
