COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ranger Creek Strawberry Milk Stout uses 500 pounds of Poteet, Texas strawberries to create a delicious and completely unique beer. The result is a dark, rich, creamy stout with a slight roastiness and undertones of rich chocolate, complemented by fresh strawberry flavor and aroma.

On tap in a flight. Pours a dark brown with an off white head and minimal lacing. Light strawberry aroma. Strawberry flavor covers most of everything else. Nothing else comes through. Average carbonation.

Tap at Bearded Lady. Pours a big dark brown color with a light ring of tan head. Aroma is milky sweet, chocolate, coffee, big roasty ness. Flavor is roasted, toasty, milky chocolate, coffee and a small quiet sweetness that hides in the corner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black but there is a red hue to it that I imagine is from the strawberries. Taste is roasty and sweet with a strawberry perfume coming through. Wish the berries were more prominent and there was more lactose from the milk stout.

Pours a very dark brown almost black with tan head. A little strawberry on the nose, with some roast; follows onto the palate. Average.

Pours black with small head. Smell is chocolate, dry and metallic. Tastes different but strawberry is not too obvious. Taste is dry, chalky, lightly metallic chocolate with a light tart flavor from the strawberry. Not the best, but drinkable. Medium body and soft carbonation. Once is enough for me of this.

Ranger Creek puts out beers I llike and dislike. I think I like the idea of this beer rather than its execution. Dark hue. Roasted malts. Chocolaty aroma. Thin head. More bitter than sweet. The strawberry is very faint. I think strawberry and chocolate go together great but I can’t tell which is which. It is full bodied and very filling. I like the idea of the beer but I think its execution leaves little to be desired. Still it is a good beer.

Near black pour with a nice brown head. Aroma is strawberry with some roast and chocolate. Taste is strawberry, chocolate, some coffee and roast. Slight bitterness to go along with the sweetness. Works well.

Tap. The look is dark, black in color, lighter light tan head. The smell is strawberry, malt, sweet, roast, ok, and different. The taste is slight tartness, fruit, lactic, malt, roast, and interesting.
