Draft at Flying Pig Taphouse. Nice breast aroma. Decent flavor with a tasty bite at the finish.

Wow, is there anything Rapp can't do? Amazingly fresh, so good. I'm so impressed with the place. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Enjoyed a pint of this beer on draft. The beer had a cloudy/hazy deep brown color with a deep amber and light brown hue, along with a creamy, good-sized, off-white head with average retention, great lacing, and good cling. Its aroma featured earthy hops with notes of toffee and caramel, along with some yeast and straw. It had a lightly sweet malty flavor with toffee and caramel, along with a touch of bitter earthy hops. The body was very creamy and wet with low-to-average carbonation, and a full, wet mouthfeel.

Brown pour, light beige head. Flavors of raisins, prunes, dates, toffee, brown sugar. Damn this is a helluva brew. Rapp is killing it. Wish it was nearby!

Deep, sweet cola flavor. Grapes, prunes, cinnamon. Sweet and old world. Very good, balanced, easy drinking.

Poured a cloudy brown color from the brewery, with aromas of wheat, light caramel, earth and some light roast. Flavors follow suit, textbook beer to the style solid overall.

Draught at the brewery. Dark brown, slightly opaque pour with a thin tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, wheat, nutmeg and spices. Thin to medium mouthfeel with a slight sticky finish.

Faint caramel behind light banana and moderate clove. Mildly sweet and a bit creamy.

Tap flight at the brewery. Translucent light brown pour. A little darker than Cognac, but with the same glow from the reflecting light. Aroma is ash and fruity yeast. Taste is bubble gum yeast, dark brown sugar, and good hop balance. Slippery in the mouth. Very nice.
