3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pint at the brewery, crisp amber, deep honey color, off white head that didn’t last. Light aroma, malt forward, caramel notes but not much beyond that. Flavor is more pronounced, with caramel malt and light faint hop notes. Nothing extravagant, but for an Irish red, it’s not bad.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This was a pretty bold Irish ale. The body was medium with lots of caramel malt and a nice hop-bite for balance. A lot of flavor here for a weaker brew.
