Pint at the brewery, crisp amber, deep honey color, off white head that didnít last. Light aroma, malt forward, caramel notes but not much beyond that. Flavor is more pronounced, with caramel malt and light faint hop notes. Nothing extravagant, but for an Irish red, itís not bad.

draft at Rapp, possibly my least favorite style, but this was very well done. medium bodies amber pour, caramel & toffee maltiness. Good flavor & mouthfeel. Nice amber

Chipalsa (1307) - Florida, USA - JUN 25, 2013
This was a pretty bold Irish ale. The body was medium with lots of caramel malt and a nice hop-bite for balance. A lot of flavor here for a weaker brew.

On tap at Rapp. Nose is caramel malt, tannins, pine trees and spice. Flavor is pretty similar. Dark red/brown color. A good drinker.

On tap at the brewery. Reddish brown pour with a medium off white head. Aroma of sweet malt and nuts with peppery hops in the background. Surprising medium body with a slight hoppy finish.
