COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional German Weizenbock with the addition of maple syrup- light golden in color, slightly sweet, a hint of banana and clove, light hop character, and a well-concealed potency.

Nose was full of maple, very earthy, with some alcohol present. Pour had almost no head, and was a pleasant yellow. Taste had wheat and was sweet, earthy and full. Sadly, lack of head and lack of carbonation in the palate, but sampled at a beerfest midday out of growlers.

Tap flight at the brewery. Hazy apricot nectar color pour with a delicate white ring in lieu of a head. Wheat and accompanying German Hef yeast aroma. Taste is heavy bubblegum and alcohol. First beer I’ve had here that isn’t beautifully balanced. This beer is hot and disjointed. It my need time to mellow, but right now its tasty yeast, some wheat, and not much else that is desirable.

Sampled from a growler at the Cajun Cafe Fall Fest. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a sweet wheat note with a nice underlying maple and a hint of light fruit. Flavor has maple up front with sweet wheat and a hint of caramel.

Appearance is ahazy gold, no head. Aroma is slight warm creme brulee, but only slight. Flavor is maple aftertaste but has a big fusel flavor that cuts into the pleasantness. Not to happy with this one.

Entering in an old rating, poured an orangish color with aromas of banana, clove, sweetness, light fruit, and some maple. Flavors follow suit, reminded me of a wizenbock with some maple syrup added.

On draft at Cajun Cafe Spring Beer Fest 2012. Pours a light yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is sweet malts, lots of sweet maple, sugar, some light tropical fruit/ banana, and lots of sweetness. Flavor is similar with sweet malt and fruit up front, maple and sweetness in the mid and finish. Very sweet beer overall, but the maple blends well into the mix.
