COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional German Weizenbock with the addition of maple syrup- light golden in color, slightly sweet, a hint of banana and clove, light hop character, and a well-concealed potency.

Nose was full of maple, very earthy, with some alcohol present. Pour had almost no head, and was a pleasant yellow. Taste had wheat and was sweet, earthy and full. Sadly, lack of head and lack of carbonation in the palate, but sampled at a beerfest midday out of growlers.

Tap at rapp. Light brown/ tan with no head or lacing. Aroma sweet syrup and caramel grain. Taste is sweet maple with caramel finish. Pretty straight forward but tasty and good for desert.

Just another Rapp I like. One of my favorites. I like the Maple taste, I am a poor judge I just know if I like it I am still learning about the different types of beer, and cannot describe them very well

draft at Rapp, orange golden pour, bubblegum, lots of cloviness, orange marmalade, sweet maple syrup. Interesting take on the style

Greg has a way with German beers. This smelled like a classic wheat beer with subtle maple notes. The taste was plentiful of clove, spices and more maple with a touch of bitterness. My sample clocked in at 10.4% abv but it was very well hidden.

Amber pour, off white head. Maple flavors, roasted nuts, brown sugar, banana, bubblegum, toasted bread. A bit sweet but still a good beer.

7/10/13. On tap at the brewpub. Amber pour with a small khaki head. The aroma shows fruity esters, hot boozy alcohol, maple, and some rich sugars. The flavor is equally hot, with more maple, some esters (too much banana in my opinion), and very rich. Not bad, could maybe use some age?

Thanks Matt! Hazy amber pour with a thin white head that fades. Aroma is mostly dominate banana yeasts and toasted malts with melodins. Slightly sweet flavor with toast and estery yeast. I get no maple. Meh.
