Poured an amber color from the bottle with aromas of caramel, booze, sherry, dark fruits and some toffee. Flavors were the same, not as much booziness as the aroma suggests, wish I had another bottle.

Lobby ticking during RBWG 2013. Rich dark caramel pour with basically no head, as expected. Rich liquer aroma, dark fruits, caramel, molasses, grapes, etc. The flavor follows suit, lightly earthy and nutty as well. Rich full body, not much carbonation, as expected. Tasty.

A cop stopped me for speeding, He said, ’Why were you going so fast?’ ... I said, ’See this thing my foot is on? It’s called an accelerator. When you push down on it, it sends more gas to the engine. The whole car just takes right off. And see this round thing? This steers it’

Bottle courtesy of the brewer at RBWG. Pours a clear caramel color with an off-white head. Nose is boozy, toffee, overripe fruit, and vanilla with some maple. Flavor is similar with booze, toffee, overripe fruit, vanilla, and maple. This recipe has come a long way to a nice enjoyable sipper now.

TURDFERGUSON (3562) - Carrboro, North Carolina, USA - FEB 26, 2013
Bottle in the lobby RBWG. Bottle 30/33. Thanks for sharing Jon! Deep muddy amber, that clears up a bit as it warms. Lots of sugary sweetness upfront, caramelized sugar, light cream. Flavor is sugary, but smooth (I wrote that!), marshmallow, coconut cream.

16.9 oz bottle to taster at the RBWG; thanks to Greg. Looks good; fairly still with a dark caramel appearance. Smells and tastes good; sweet caramel and candy. Smooth on the palate. A nice liquor-ish beer.

Lubiere (8239) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 8, 2013
A reddish copper ale with no head. In aroma, beautiful sweet Amaretto, nutty soy sauce, very nice. In mouth, sweet caramel with loads of alcohol, vanilla, light and smooth. On tap at brewpub, Dec. 8 2012.

Bottle at the brewery - the brewer indicated this is an American Strong Ale. Rich reddish orange pour with no head. Syrupy. Overwhelming flavors, super rich, ABV is there but it’s drinkable. What a treat!
