Rapperswiler Lagerbier is the only lager beer brewed in Rapperswil! Rapperswil Lagerbier is produced because customers want a natural, lightly hopped, delicious, locally brewed lager beer. While there are many lager beers on the Swiss market, none of them are made in Rapperswil.

Golden clear color. Little smell. The taste is basically the one of a fruity lager. The aftertaste is decent. A great lager: not more but not less.

Hazy orange color with small head. Aroma of grains, a hint of berries, a hint of corn (but good corn!). Taste is balanced, grainy-malty, berry-fruitiness. Smooth. Just nice!

Pours a slighty hazy golden color, topped with average white head. Malty aroma is easily picked up, there are also some grassy notes present. The malty start is followed by balanced body, finishing with nice bitterness. A nice one.

bottle from Solothurner Biertage 2014, courtesy of Stephen Hart - cloudyblond beerwith a little foam left; fair aromatic hoppiness with notes of hay and grass, light spicy too; a good malt body, clean and with a fair but subtle carbonation; gently bitter, long aromatic hoppy finish (peanuts, spicy and grassy) - straight to the point and good
