2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled. Hazy golden orange, small white head. Doesn’t really smell anything, a bit of honey maybe. Taste quite ok, but it’s not bad and doesn’t taste too much.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(bottle, 50cl, 5,4%)
A very light yellow beer with thick white foam. Its unfiltered so there is yeast in the bottle. A sweet arome with caramel, some banana and some wild strawberries. Medium to whin palate. Tastes like its aroma with a sweetness and a mix of fudge, banana and an aftertaste with a hint of the strawberries and malt. It is low in bitterness. Almost like a mix of a lager and a wheatbeer. I liked it.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
06/01 0.33 l green bottle from an Eurospar in Graz. My first Zwickl and I have quite high expectations... Murky pale yellow bodied this had medium bigger head. Weak aroma of some citrus, herbal with pale malt. Flavor is bitterish, somewhat sourish, but too watery. Very long and pleasant finish which might be the best about this beer. I’m not so excited about this one.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle courtesy of and shared with heavy who brought it from Austria (thanks!)
Pours a murky, juice like yellow colour with a medium to big sized white head. A weak nose again, just a touch of malt, a bit oily. A pleasant but slightly weak fruity malty taste, a touch agrumey. A fine but oh so weak chewy hop bitterness. Very drinkable and shows potential but too empty for my liking. Shame... if the taste was stronger, this would’ve been well into 3’s in my book.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden colored, slightly hazy appearance. Sweet and lemony, slightly honeyish aroma with some grassy cardboard. Thin to medium bodied, crispy carbonation. Flavor is more zwickelly with earth and cardboard, still this sweet honey and fruitiness here strongly. Aftertaste dries to hopped one with grassy note.

Comments: Another pretty clean Austrian zwickl with a confident flowery character and a particularly crisp, strawy palate, but a bit hesitant maltiness.
