ogivlado (2392), Zagreb, Croatia Jan 14, 2004 Bottled(500ml). -quite tasty with lime aroma and sweet malty flavour, dry finish with some acid tones Aldrighetti (161), Coltura, Italy Aug 15, 2003 Pale golden, little hazy, white creamy head. Clean malty aroma, honey-like, low hop aroma. Sweet malty flavour, low hop taste, dry finish. radiomgb (1776), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada Mar 23, 2005 Bottle. Cloudy yellow in colour - kind of a cross between a witbier and a hefe. Aroma was yeasty with lemon citrus and some malt. The flavour had a mild bitterness, malty, yeasty, musty with some sour lemons as well. Medium body, high carbonation. Finishes with a long citrus bitterness. Quite nice. Thanks for sharing this one with me Adam. Geiserich (1540), Vienna, Austria Jan 6, 2005 Quite hazy, yellow color. Yeasty aroma, fresh, sourly, malty. Malty, barley notes, spicy. Dry aftertaste. My favourite austrian Zwickel. henrikb (1126), Aarhus, Denmark Aug 1, 2007 Slightly hazy light golden body, lots of fine bubbles, medium sized bubbles in head with good duration; Malty warm nose (I think the beer is served a little to warm as well) with quite a bit of yeast character to it, pleasantly balanced, but not really deep or complex; Huge big bubbled carbonation very fitting on soft a little thin body, very pleasant and balanced but again not a lot of complexity or depth, malty bitter and a little yeasty harsh; Quite long finish, slightly malty bitter and a little yeasty harsh, lots of lasting aromas again a bit to plain, simple and not deep enough, malty soft aromas and plain yeast. Alright and very drinkable beer, it lacks character and complexity in all aspects.
