cask, keg (7%), bottled Three Bristol Craft Breweries have come together to brew a very special beer for this year’s Bristol Beer Festival. The “Bristol Craft Brewers” are Jon Comer from Arbor Ales, Chris Kay and Brett Ellis from the Bristol Beer Factory and Chris Thurgeson from Zero Degrees. The beer will simply be known as “Collaboration”, and is the amalgamation of several styles of beer. Arbor Ales Jon Comer says “we are calling it a ‘New World Tripel’ a combination of Belgian & American styles”. "Collaboration” is based on a classic Belgian style, strong golden ale but given a twist. It is being brewed with ingredients gathered from all over the world, a homage to a time when Bristol was one of the trading capitals of the world. The beer brings together styles of beer from England, Belgium & the US, and ingredients from all over the World, English malted barley, Belgian yeast and hops from America and New Zealand, toasted (toasted in Zero Degrees pizza oven) oats & coriander.
