Tuatara Conehead

Brewed by Tuatara Brewing Company
Paraparaumu, New Zealand
Style: American Pale Ale | Ratings: 15 | Autumn Seasonal | Alcohol: 5.8%
2013 version - Throwing hops straight from the vine into the brew, undisciplined by kiln drying or other modes of professional behaviour, is called green hopping. In Coneheadís case, that means massive amounts of Nelson Sauvin in the hopback and Citra and Amarillo in the boil. Voodoo like this may sound a little random, but judging by the heady aroma of lychees, gooseberry, passionfruit and citrus balances with an appropriate bitterness, it seems somebodyís been doing their homework. - 5.8%

2012 version - Brewed with new season Riwaka and Motueka cones hops and shed load of freshly picked whole Green Nelson Sauvin hops in the hopback. - 5.5%
