Victory Bavarian Polaris IPABrewed by Victory Brewing Company
Downingtown, Pennsylvania USA Special one time release, May 2012. This just-named hop variety features beautifully in this wonderfully bitter IPA. A silky malt base supports the minty, glacier-like hop character highlighting the refreshing, cool finish.
This recipe was created in partnership with the German Hop Growers’ Association specially to debut at the Craft Brewer’s Conference in San Diego in order to demonstrate the quality of specific German hops. The polaris hop was considered experimental until mid-April of 2012 when it was given a name. Up until that point it was being referenced only by a code of numbers.
