Der er imidlertid ikke tilsat krydderier til brygget, men den komplekse sammensætning af malt og humle, kombineret med en nøje udvalgt belgisk gær betyder, at smagsbilledet bliver ud over det sædvanlige. Denne øl er stor nok til at hamle op med den til tider tunge og fyldige julemad.
Øllet er ikke filtreret, hvilket betyder, at det bør skænkes forsigtigt, således at eventuelt bundfald bliver tilbage i flasken.
