De geur is zacht met opvallende houtnotes. Bloemig en zoetig als bloesemhoning. Amandel en vanillegeur aanwezig en natuurlijk de normale Quadrupelgeur welke echter op de achtergrond blijft. De eerst dronk smaakt duidelijk naar zacht rode wijn gevolgd door hout, tannines en rook welke langzaam overgaan in een zachte honigzoetigheid. Naarmate het bier warmer wordt gedronken komt de eikensmaak meer naar voren en lijkt het bier tanninerijker te worden. Daardoor is deze batch voldoende bitter en blijft de houtsmaak op de achtergrond aanwezig. Deze Quadrupel is medium zoet en droger dan de gewone Quadrupel. íLate burgundy vatení 91% Nieuw eiken (high toast) 4,5% Nieuw accasia (medium toast) 4,5%
