This Double IPA uses premium American 2-row and a touch of light crystal malt to create a mellow malt foundation. Four different hop varieties are used in this beer. It spends one week dry hopping in the fermenter giving it a floral, slightly piney, grapefruit, and citrus aroma. Unlike most double IPAs, this beer shies away from a malty body and starts out with a clean bitterness that finishes off smooth and leaves you wanting more.
