Boscos Poor Richardís Ale

Brewed by Boscos Brewing Company (Roma Pomodori)
Memphis, Tennessee USA
Style: Traditional Ale | Ratings: 12 | Winter Seasonal | Alcohol: -
Brewed by Chuck Skypeck of Boscos Nashville Brewing Co., Nashville, TN.

Initially brewed as part of a nationwide celebration of the 300th anniversary of Ben Franklinís birth. In spite of the fact that Benjamin Franklin is constantly given credit for the quote ďBeer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy,Ē this line does not appear anywhere in Benís writing. But Iím certain he felt this way about his favorite beverage. Brewed with corn and molasses, two common brewing ingredients in colonial times, Poor Richards Ale is a modern interpretation of a beer Ben might have drank in one of his favorite taverns.
